Kim O'Neil
Research Associate
Kim O'Neil was a Research Associate at TERC, where she split her time between design work, curriculum development, and educational research. She has written curricula for several Investigations geometry units and participated in the second grade evaluation. She worked on Through the Glass Wall from 1997-1998. She designed graphics for two TERC web sites: Collaborative Learning Environments On-line, developed by the Testbed for Telecollaboration project, and the Investigations web site. Before coming to TERC she earned her M.Ed. through the Lesley/Shady Hill apprenticeship program and taught a mixed first and second grade at Fayerweather Street School. Her computer animation and illustration work is grounded in an undergraduate foundation of studio arts and architecture.
