Widget Workshop enables you to create and work with machines, using a collection of switches, motors, sounds, displays, and timers. The pre-made puzzles involve such activities as connecting switches to activate the red, green and blue color inputs of a monitor, adding parts and connections to make a dog bark thirty times in 60 seconds, or completing a machine that calculates how far you can throw a baseball on the moon. Skills required include examining complicated mechanical and/or logical systems to determine what is missing or done incorrectly.
